Meet Samadhi Bouchard, RMT
After fifteen years of living away, Samadhi is thrilled to be rejoining the Nelson community. Born and raised here, Samadhi has spent time travelling abroad and living long term in various BC communities. However, being a new mother inspired her to move back to the place she has always called home.
Living in Nelson allowed Samadhi to lead an active lifestyle, as she could often be found hiking, skiing, camping, paddle boarding, on the soccer field, and even fighting some forest fires. These passions, paired with her caring nature, inspired her to pursue a career as an RMT.
Samadhi attained a Bachelor’s of Arts and Sciences from Quest University where she focused her studies around her thesis question “What are the limitations of the human body?” This line of inquiry inspired Samadhi to go on and complete a RMT diploma from VCMT in Vancouver.
Her specific RMT interests include (but are not limited to) headaches, TMJ issues, physical manifestations from various mental health concerns, pre and postnatal care as well as infant massage. Becoming a mother increased Samadhi’s passion of pre and postnatal care, knowing herself how important it is and how much it takes a backseat in a lot of peoples lives.
Samadhi uses a variety of techniques specific to each clients needs. She uses moderate pressure and works slow following the demands of the tissue she is working with. She performs treatments both with and without oil using modalities such as myofascial release, neuomuscular techniques, stretching, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, and remedial exercises. Her main focus is to ensure her client can be relaxed and in the moment while she effectively targets and tailors her approach to their individual needs.

Meet Ana Seed, RMT
Ana grew up in Nelson and is very happy to return home after 4 years of practise in the Okanagan. She began working as an RMT in 2018 and has furthered her education in osteopathic techniques such as craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation and myofascial release.
For a therapeutic and relaxing treatment Ana blends these modalities alongside Swedish massage and trigger point therapy for deep relaxation and pain relief.
In her down time Ana enjoys playing music, cooking and being in the mountains.
