What is your cancellation policy?Sometimes things come up and you can't make it to your appointment. I get it! Things happen. But as a sole practitioner, 100% of my income comes from you, my valued patients. When you cancel on short notice, I don't get paid - and I still have to pay rent and for everything else. You're also taking an appointment slot from someone else who may have really needed it. I have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, or fail to show up, you will be charged the full cost of your treatment. Letting me know as soon as possible if you need to cancel an appointment is very much appreciated! Please also note that insurance providers DO NOT cover missed appointments: if you don't show up, your insurance cannot be charged and you are responsible for the full fee. Future appointments cannot be scheduled until your invoice is paid. Thank you for valuing my time!

Do you have parking?Yes. There is meter parking on the street outside the clinic. Cost is 25 cents per 12 minutes.

What position will I be in for my prenatal massage? It depends on how you feel and what you need at the time. We have a BodyCushion pregnancy bolster to support you while you are face down on the table. Some prefer to have their treatmemt in a sidelying position - this works really well for prenatal treatment too! Sometimes part or all of the treatment can be with you on your back. The table props up so you can sit in a semi-reclined position. You have options. At each treatment we will decide what is best for you.

What is Manual Lymphatic Drainage (aka Lymphatic Massage)?Manual lymph drainage, aka lymphatic massage, is a gentle and rhythmic manual therapy technique that aims to stimulate the structures of the lymphatic system. By stimulating the lymphatic system, MLD helps to decrease swelling and edema, address acute or chronic inflammation, and promote cellular health by stimulating microcirculation in the area of the body being treated. The rhythmic nature of touch used in this treatment is also very toning for the nervous system and helps to promote a deep state of relaxation.
-
Are lymphatic drainage and craniosacral therapy covered under my extended health benefits?Yes! These treatments use techniques that trained Registered Massage Therapists are able to practice under their manual therapy license. Each of these treatments are covered under any extended health care plan that covers Registered Massage Therapy.

What method of payment do you accept?E-transfer, debit or cash is preferable. Direct billing is available for most major insurance companies
